Hello, i want to have a basic website for a community where people can authenticate, login and chat using the asp .net framework. details: every user should have his own profile where he can change information and upload a picture of him/herself. to chat, the user has to go to the main room where he chooses another logged in user and asks for his availability, if the other user is available, he/she accepts the chat session and another window opens where the user can only chat to that person and noone else can join the session.

I am looking for someone to help me do some coding in php/perl, mysql and web interface. the project is about reading bookmarks from a web browser (firefox) and getting such information as title, url and frecency from the bookmarks. based on these urls (bookmarks) the program crawls to these sites and reads the contents of each site and saves it as text document ( x/html tags are removed) in mysql database. from these saved documents, unique word frequencies are conducted and saved in the database as inverse tables. i would then want the program to compare these documents based on frequencies of the words in each document(url) and possibly words from the title tags and see if any relationship (literal, syntatic, semantic) can be drawn. the result of the program could be depicted in a graph inside a x/html illustrating bookmarks that have similar or near similar content. the language and tools prefered to be used for the project are php or perl (search) and mysql. i have already done some of the requirements, and can be used as a starting point..

I am currently having a website being built but the person developing the site appears to be having problems with a particular page. the website is for a mother and toddler classes and the page i need is a 'find a class page' i need a page with a map of the uk. the map needs to show the names of the different counties when the computer mouse is over an area. then when the user double clicks on the county a list of venues will come up at the side of the map. at the moment there will be only one county (staffordshire) that has any venues but it is anticipated venues will open across the country. so for the counties where there are currently no classes instead of a list of venues it needs to say 'classes coming soon' i need this in a format that can be sent to the web designer currently building the site.

I represent a few network marketing groups, and we are wanting prices to develop a website for our referral and leads system. here is the basic premise: all the companies in the marketing group(s) share customer lists and leads with each other. we want a password protected site that members of the marketing group can log into and see leads, or create new and send new leads to the group or to a certain member in the group. a user should be able to create a lead, and select from a list what type of lead it is, and then type all the info i want about that info. for example, bob the electrician gets a new client, he can then get online and enter that client and job information into the system, and can specify if the leads should go to the entire group, or select a certain member or members. bob enters all the information about the client and job, and then submits. the site then emails the member(s) a 'you have a new lead' email and they can then click an link within the email to login to see the details and lead contact info. a user should be able to set from a list how long a lead is 'hot' -meaning how long long that lead shows up on the 'new leads' list. you will need to make an admin area, where admin can add/remove/edit companies, users, type of lead categories, etc we also want a public home page that everyone can see and read about our marketing group, and apply if they want to become a member of our group. make sure when you bid this, to leave yourself enough funds for some ample time to add the admin and user features that i assume will be needed that i didn't describe properly here. if this works well, we will be adding several other features.

I actually have two jobs i'm am interested in getting bids for: job 1. i have a wordpress blog hosted with yahoo that i have customized myself, i consider my self relatively tech savvy, but just not enough to resolve an issue i am having with my permalinks. essentially the custom structure field is not editable in wordpress, and i believe that it is due to a bug with yahoo. i know i could probably just move the blog to another hosting company and the permalinks would probably work again, but perhaps its worth the saving me the hassell if i can find someone that can hack my htaaccess file to have some redirect rules to get the same thing accomplished, or perhaps there is another simpler solution? anyhow i am looking for a way to get my url structure to be shorter with just the post name and category name in the url after the root domain. also i would prefer my categories were cleaner and did not include /tag/ in the url structure. job 2. i need a script that can replicate and automate what share through managed to do in this example here: essentially i made a post, and then they responded to it with a link back to their website? i think perhaps they are targeting keywords by doing a script that does a search for a set keyword like "viral video" for example: then they are some how replying to the tweets automatically adding a link below? seems like a good marketing strategy! hope someone has the coding chops to build it ?? is it you?

We are looking to have an iphone app designed to integrate with our website. our website is based on a traveling music roadshow where bands can win big prizes. the website provides information on each band along with video clips and/or audio mp3 clips. the ideal app would automatically locate the person accessing (geographically) and give them updates on shows in their area. if possible they would be able to watch short clips or listen to bands from the website. a plus would be to be able to recommend the app or site to friends. we are open to any other ideas that a programmer would have in regards to making the app more appealing.
