[this is not a request for a simple mp3 player! i would like to implement what can be seen on the two sites below, and nothing else] i have ajax implemented on my wordpress site. i would like to create an mp3 player that runs in the footer, but will automatically start playing/switch to songs that are played from the main post. for a perfect implementation of this, see http://www.hypem.com/. i would like to replicate their setup almost exactly (though they are not using wordpress). they are using jw player as the main engine for playback. i really need to emphasize that i am not just looking for an mp3 player here. what i am looking for is one that will interactively function with ajax, so that when the play button next to a different mp3 is clicked, the mp3 playing in the footer will switch to the song that has been called. again, please look at hypem.com for the perfect example. another example can be seen at http://beta.hypster.com/, where, at the bottom left, you will see a "top 10 artists" list. each of those has a play button that, when clicked, will dynamically call an mp3 player in the footer (that looks identical to hypem). their use of an extra frame to implement this is not ideal. the interface, however, is. you should notice that if you surf around hypster, the music at the bottom will continue to play until you hit the play button next to another track. user interface should be similar to that on hypster or hypem, in that the bottom bar displays the artist/track title based on the <a href=""> link.

I have been trying to change the font size / style on the chat component of flash communications components for the flash media server, i host with influxis. i'm just looking for someone who can explain and/or show me how and where to find this variable, i see there is a .asc file in the compnents directory that codes the font with a simple bold, but i don't know where to put this code once i edit it sinec the components are flas and not compiled swfs i need somoene with flash media server experience

I'm looking for an expert programmer with excellent communication skills and very good reviews to fix some issues i have with a licensed jw player i just purchased. http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/ 1. player does not play videos in all browsers, only able to play videos in internet explorer. i need to play videos in firefox and safari as well. videos buffer and i only get a blank screen... it says "transferring data from..." at the bottom of the browser but never plays the video. 2. videos are not cached. if you refresh the page after playing a video(ie), it has to load again using more bandwidth. also you are not able to go back and forth while the videos are playing after it finishes loading. i need to cache videos after loading. this issue must be fixed within 2 days. only bid if you are familiar with jw player issues. add the word "luna" to your bid to show me you have read all these requirements. it's your responsability to contact support from longtailvideo or any other support team you think is necessary to fix the problem. we'll communicate via email and yahoo messenger.

Just finished building my photography website in flash, but i want an alternative html version so that site will be visible on non-flash browsers (such as iphones and ipad) and will be indexable in search engines. existing site has about 300 "pages" containing one image on each page, with a caption. there's a row of clickable icons at the bottom of the screen. images are all sized and ready to go (existing flash site loads images dynamically using slideshow pro). and caption text is all written. there's also a contact screen with a link to google maps, and a biog screen with text. flash website gives a "slideshow" option, and enables captions to be turned on and off. that's it!

I'm going to launch a website that pulls in tweets that are subject specific. it will be designed the same way stocktwits.com is designed (check out stocktwits.com for an example). on stocktwits.com, users go to the site because they like to view all tweets relevant to their stock(s) aggregated on one site. this site and my site will do exactly that. it's community-driven. what i need: (please reference the stocktwits.com website to understand what i am talking about) ... 1. those interested in using the site and having their tweets show up on the site's live feed will have to login into stocktwits.com with their twitter username and password. example: once a user provides that information (and with their permission), their tweets can show up on the stocktwits.com website if they post from their regular twitter account or from a texting platform (cellphone). 2. when the user is on their own twitter account and they want something to show up on the stocktwits.com website, they place the following designator, "$ $ " at the beginning or end of their tweet. that way not everything they tweet shows up on the feed - only relevant material. also ticker symbol with "$" infront of it (ex. $bac) should be pulled into the stream as well. 3. the tweet stream on the site must update in realtime (or as close to realtime as possible) as shown on stocktwits.com. there must also be an entry bar where people can post straight onto the site as stocktwits.com allows. 4. the functionality must be almost identical to stocktwits.com where the user's name, picture, the date and time of each tweet are displayed on the stream. further, by clicking the name of the tweeter you can see all that person's tweets aggregated as well. you can then "follow" them if you'd like and even see a small profile of them. 5. i need to have some kind of back end access to monitor the signups and tweets to delete users that are spamming or violating posting policies. 6. the construction should be scalable enough to replicate the same exact model for several sub-categories just as stocktwits.com which we can do at a later date. nb! only experienced people should bid for the project. also you must have previous experience with twitter api and be able show previous work. this is only the first in a series of many projects related to this site. there will be plenty of more work in the immediate future. also bid only if you are able to fit in the budget!

Hello, i recently purchased the source code for a flash quiz game which needs some enhancing. the .fla file is written in actionscript 2.0. the game works in practice but i would like it to be a bit stronger. the key skills required are php, mysql and adobe flash. the following areas require enhancement: - email validation needed for the high score system and "challenge a friend" system to ensure that a user can enter an email address in the format, currently a user can not enter text or can enter any text and the game will accept (not acceptable) - ip address tracking when a player enters a high score, - ip address tracking and name tracking for "challenge a friend" in backoffice - "bad words" filter on the "challenge a friend" name input field - bonus score feature which is calculated as the time remaining on the countdown timer when a question is answered correctly and this bonus score is added to the total score (no bonus if question answer is not correct) - fix on the game where the "play again" should go to the instruction page and not as currently - enhance the "bad words" filter on the high scores system so that if a player enters a prohibited name or a name already on the database a loop is created so that they enter an appropriate name - enhance the high scores system so that if a high score is beaten an email is sent to the current high score holder to notify them that their score has been beaten (and a bcc to the site email address). i would like to work with someone who has worked on a similar job (flash quiz games) and is experienced in adobe flash, actionscript 2.0, php and mysql. only programmers with high rating only need apply. bonus on satisfactory delivery of project (within time-scales)! i will provide the source files to the winning bidder and i will require a non-disclosure agreement. good luck.
